Up until now you could only share a Pandora station or song by emailing it to your friends. That has changed now. Pandora integrated Twitter and Facebook in its service in order to share your Pandora catalogue. Next to that there’s also the option to gift Pandora stations (for free).
The buttons are placed on the main playback pages next to the playback ones. But what is this ‘gift’ all about? More precisely Pandora allows you to create a customized station based on either an artist or a song. You can choose up to 5 artists or songs for one station. Name the station, choose a skin for the message and enter the email addresses of those you want to send it to together with a message. And that’s it really. Or as Pandora calls it: “It’s sort of our version of making a mix tape for someone.”
