TuneCore has announced a partnership with eHealth, Inc., parent company of eHealthInsurance.com, that enables TuneCore artists in the USA to call dedicated eHeath/TuneCore representatives, toll-free, 24/7 or go online to compare health insurance products side-by-side. Through this partnership TuneCore artists will be able to get answers to their health insurance questions, gain information about products and research health insurance plans that meet their needs from over 180 insurance carriers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
In addition, TuneCore and eHealth have collaborated to create a free informational download of the TuneCore Music Industry Survival Manual: Information on Healthcare for Musicians.
TuneCore.com offers a flat fee service that distributes anyone’s music or videos to iTunes, eMusic, AmazonMP3 and many other major download sites while taking no rights and no revenue from the sale of the music once the yearly flat fee is paid. TuneCore charges 99 cents per track, 99 cents per store per album, and $19.98 per album per year storage and maintenance.
